Everyday after work, I sit on my bed and think about how much I hate my job. I take inventories of retail stores, and the amount of work I do does not reflect how much I get paid. Being twice as productive as the next best person, I get paid the exact same amount as them. It's kind of a data entry job, and I currently type 120 WPM and key on a 10-key pad over 15,000 KPH (including symbols), and I've always felt that I could find a better job somewhere using these skills.
I've a bunch of friends in the data entry industry who always say, "I'll put in a good word for you," or, "I'll let you know when to apply." I'm sure you know what I mean. A person can only wait so long before they start to venture out on their own, looking for work, hoping that one job they're perfect for will magically appear where they're looking and be available to them. That's not the case. Every data entry job I found required either a degree of some sort, or certifications -- which I've neither of.
So anyway, four days ago, completely unexpectedly, one of my, "I'll let you know when to apply," friends -- actually let me know to apply! The next day, some lady named Roberta calls and starts asking me questions about why I'm qualified, and I honestly don't know wtf I'm talking about other than, "Uhmmmm, I key fast. Isn't that what this is about?" And she goes into why I think I deserve this job and in my mind, things are just sinking fast. Twenty minutes and about fifty "I don't knows" later, she says something that completely blows my mind. "Can you come in for an interview tomorrow?"
I go in for the interview, and it's not even a real interview. The supervisor is basically showing me the ropes and just asks me when I can start... ... ... I'm still in shock and don't really know what else to say..
It's not about what you know, it's about who you know. That really is the unfortunate truth of the world. And I all of a sudden have a great appreciation for the people I know. :)

Reality
Have you ever thought about what life is? I mean really, really, sat down and took the time to think of all the possibilities for our being? As I was lying in bed, I began thinking about what possible purpose we could have for being alive, and how we really came into being. I put my personal opinions aside and realized why people can truly believe in a god -- a being powerful and wise enough to make everything in this universe fall into just the right places to make life possible.
After those thoughts, my mind began to wander as I started getting drowsy, and I started thinking about the quote, "I think, therefore I am." It dawned on me that you, my family, my friends -- I don't know what you're thinking, and I can't for sure say you even are. I began thinking deeper and came across a theory that I'm the only real thing in this entire world. All other beings were created by my mind to make my world what it is. Every conversation I have, I'm actually having with my own mind, channeled through a separate entity (your physical body). It's hard to explain, but basically what I'm saying is YOU, my friend, are not real. You don't have any thoughts or the capability to think. You don't have any real feelings. You do what my subconscious mind programmed you to do. Prove me wrong.
In short. I am God. And you are living in my world because you play a small part in making my world fit together.

Behind the Mind
So by now, everyone's heard about the impending apocalypse scheduled to hit sometime in the year 2012. After seeing the movie "23," a spark was ignited in my mind and I became overwhelmed with the need to further investigate 2012. Now, it's one thing to hear in passing conversation that the world is going to end in 2012... You think to yourself, "Yeah, these guys don't know wtf they're talking about." But if you research it, it's amazing what you can find. The mayans, the aztecs, Merlin, Nostradamus, The oracle... It's more than just one nut.
So I'm convinced the world will be ending in 2012, sure. But when I heard that Oprah was canceling her show, another lightbulb ticked on in my head! The most powerful woman in the world, with the most followers... A woman who is idolized as the embodiment of anything that is good in this world-- decides to cancel her show after decades, in the year 2011. One year before the 2012 prediction? Hmmm, coincidence? There's no such thing as a coincidence! I'm convinced, and you should be too, that Oprah -- using her resources, is planning to build a vessel of some sort to survive the apocalypse. After her last show in 2011, she will concentrate her focus on finding people worthy of joining her on her post-apocalyptic voyage to repopulate and rebuild.
In short, Oprah is the modern day Noah. (Noah's ark)
